Pythoge /pi-thöj/ is a woman-owned business in which was founded in 2014 by owners Meri Thompson Pylant and Ken Pylant to address a need they saw within the community: maintain the communities charm and integrity by restoring classic homes in Auburn, Opelika, and surrounding areas. Since then, their work has expanded to also include custom builds. Pythoge focuses on residential properties within the Auburn, Opelika, and surrounding areas.

They work with a neighborhood’s existing structures to revitalize a truly classic piece of their framework or build a new home to keep up with the community’s charm. Pythoge aspires to create a quality piece of property that seamlessly blends into the community while offering a unique, custom home. They strive to accomplish this by using quality products and craftsmanship, resulting in both energy conservation and excellence. Ken and Meri’s love for renovating their first home turned into a passionate career path they chose to embark together: this passion turned into a family business that is known for renovations, remodels, and custom builds.
