Check Wallpaper is a design that has stood the test of time and will be around for decades to come. Bethany Linz wanted to create her own version of this classic gingham wallpaper design by creating a scale that would be versatile. She started with hand-painted stripes and then making them transparent and overlaying them so that this check design appears textured, painterly and dimensional. It is available in Beige, Charcoal, Dusty Blue, Green, Navy, Pink and Turquoise.

Please note that both scale and color may vary based on the substrate. We recommend ordering samples before purchasing yards or rolls.

Bethany Linz is an Australian artist and textile designer who has launched several collections and individual designs with Milton & King. Aged With Grace is a collection inspired by old hand-painted murals. Hence, they feature how these works of art seem to grow even more beautiful over the years. The aesthetic is tropical yet rustic. Young At Heart is Bethany’s first kids collection. The focus here is on educational wallpaper as well as simply playful and cheerful wallpaper. Both of these collections of wallpapers and fabrics concern time.  Bethany followed this up with her French Collection, which is inspired by the fascination that French culture experienced as world travel brought exotic food and animals to their attention.
